Bar staff hire

Bar staff hire in London

Sometimes you have the bar, the drink and the space, and what you need is people. You can book crew on their own — by role, for the hours you need — with the same briefing and coordination as a full service booking.

Book by role
Bartender, barback, bar manager, host, waiting staff
Minimum
4 hours of service per crew member
Covers
Private events, venue shifts and one-off overflow
Briefed
Run-sheet issued before the crew arrive

Roles and what each one actually does

  • Bartender — makes and serves drinks, handles the batching plan and garnish.
  • Barback — ice, glass collection, restocking and waste; one barback keeps two bartenders productive.
  • Bar manager — timings, stock control, the person you speak to instead of chasing individuals.
  • Host — greets guests, hands out arrival drinks, manages the flow at the door.
  • Waiting staff — tray service, table clearing, canapé support alongside caterers.

Working alongside your other suppliers

If you already have a caterer, venue team or event producer, we fit into their schedule rather than running a parallel one. We ask for their timings up front and align the bar run-sheet to it, so service, speeches and food don't collide.

Questions we get asked

Before you enquire

Can I hire staff without hiring a bar?

Yes. Staff-only bookings are common where the venue already has a bar or the client has bought their own drink.

Do you cover venue shifts as well as private events?

We do — venue cover and overflow staffing is handled through our venue partnership team, on ongoing terms rather than event by event.

How far in advance do you need the headcount?

Final numbers seven days before the event let us lock the crew. Small changes after that are usually possible; large swings may affect availability.
