Event bartenders

Event bartenders in London

Bartenders are the difference between a bar and a bottleneck. Ours arrive early, know the run-sheet before they walk in, work the room at the right pace, and leave the space cleaner than they found it.

How crews are briefed

  • A written run-sheet: arrival, build, service start, food break, last orders, de-rig.
  • The menu, batching plan and garnish spec, agreed with you in advance.
  • House rules: where crew can and can't go, noise limits, neighbour considerations.
  • Guest-facing detail — the names of hosts, the toast timing, who to ask if something changes.

The roles you can book

  • Bartender — service, batching, garnish, guest interaction.
  • Barback — ice, glass clearing, restocking; keeps bartenders on the pass.
  • Bar manager — runs the bar, owns timings, your single contact on the night.
  • Host or waiting staff — tray service, welcome drinks, table clearing.

Clear-down and hand-back

Service stops, glassware is collected and packed, surfaces are wiped, waste and empties leave with us. On residential jobs we work quietly during de-rig — most late-night complaints come from load-out, not the party.

Questions we get asked

Before you enquire

How many bartenders do I need for 100 guests?

Two bartenders plus a barback is the usual answer for a four-hour party with a short cocktail menu. Add a third if the menu is made-to-order or the room is split across floors.

Is there a minimum booking?

Four hours of service. Crew arrive 60–90 minutes before that to build and prep, and stay to clear down; those hours are included, not billed separately.

Can bartenders serve drinks I've already bought?

Yes. Plenty of hosts buy their own spirits and wine and book us for the people, kit and cocktails. We'll tell you what to buy and in what quantities.

What do bartenders wear?

Black shirt or apron as standard. If your event has a dress code, tell us and the crew match it.
