Cocktail bar hire

Cocktail bar hire in London

A cocktail bar at an event lives or dies on two things: the menu is short enough to serve quickly, and the drinks are worth queueing for. We design around both — usually two or three signature serves, batched where it helps, plus a proper alcohol-free list.

2–4 serves, chosen for speed and range

How the menu gets built

  • Start from the classics. We ask which of the classics your guests actually order — that tells us the flavour direction faster than any brief.
  • Translate into signatures. From there we propose one or two signature serves that suit the room, the season and the food.
  • Batch what can be batched. Stirred and pre-diluted drinks are pre-batched so the queue moves; shaken serves stay à la minute.
  • Build the alcohol-free side properly. Around a third of the list, made with the same care, not a jug of juice.

Choosing serves that hold up

Not every drink works at volume. Anything requiring a long build, muddled fruit or a fragile garnish slows a bar to a crawl once thirty people arrive at once. We flag those at menu stage and offer an equivalent that serves in seconds.

What comes with the bar

  • Menu design call and printed or digital menus for the night
  • Glassware matched to the serves, not a single generic tumbler
  • Clear cubed ice, plus crushed where the menu calls for it
  • Fresh garnish prep on site
  • Bartenders who can talk about the drinks without lecturing

Questions we get asked

Before you enquire

How many cocktails should be on the menu?

Two or three works best. A short menu keeps the queue moving and lets us prep properly; longer lists slow service and rarely get used evenly.

Can you create a bespoke cocktail for the event?

Yes. We develop the serve on a planning call using the flavour direction you like, then confirm the final recipe and garnish before the date.

Do you cater for guests who aren't drinking?

Always. Roughly a third of the menu is alcohol-free and built with the same technique, so nobody is handed a lemonade by default.

How fast can a bartender serve cocktails?

Around 40–50 drinks an hour when the menu is batched, and closer to 25–30 for shaken, made-to-order serves. That ratio drives the staffing recommendation on your quote.
